Norway’s toughest relay.
24 hours. Non-stop.
We rebuild an empty industrial hall on Filipstad into a single arena.
It stands for 24 hours.
On Saturday 30 January 2027, 24 treadmills start at the same moment inside Skur 13. Twenty four hours later they stop. The team that has run the furthest wins.
Separate challenges run throughout: best 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, half marathon and marathon. Each with its own prize, so there is more than one way to take something home.
The race runs continuously from start to finish. You swap runners whenever you like. The belt never stops.
Everyone who runs enters as a team of four. You split the 24 hours however you like: short hard efforts through the night, or long easy blocks. On average that works out at around six hours of running each, spread across the full day.
You do not need to be an elite runner. You need three people you trust.
There are 24 slots, filled in the order they are booked. The price is announced when the slots are released.
Amounts to be finalised before launch.
Real time data from every treadmill: speed, distance, heart rate and position, on big screens in the hall and on a live leaderboard online. The full 24 hours is filmed and streamed, so people at home can follow their team hour by hour.
Positions, sub challenges and team drama update continuously. The audience sees who cracks, who closes the gap, and who holds the pace through the night.
The stream and leaderboard are open to everyone. Family, friends and colleagues can follow your team without being in the hall.
TGI Media covers the full 24 hours with film, stream and stills. Every team gets images from their own race.
A raw industrial hall on the waterfront, 1,664 m² of concrete and steel. Half the arena is the athlete side, the other half is for the audience. It costs nothing to come and watch.
Drop in whenever you like across the 24 hours. It is busiest at the start, in the middle of the night, and in the final hours.
In February 2026 we gathered 200 treadmills in one place at Velodromen in Asker, never done before. It became a 10 day running festival, and people found their way there without us spending a single krone on advertising.
No. The format is as much about spending your energy well as it is about being fast. A team of four steady club runners who cooperate can beat a team with one strong runner and three exhausted ones. The sub challenges exist precisely so that different types of runners have something to aim for.
Around six hours each on average, spread across the 24 hours. How you divide it is entirely up to you. Some teams run short hard efforts with long breaks in between, others take longer easy blocks. The belt must never stand still, but who is on it is the team’s decision.
Yes. With four on the team you each have several hours between efforts. We set aside space to rest on the athlete side, but be prepared for sound and light in the hall around the clock.
Tell us as early as you can and we will find a solution. Closer to the race we will keep a reserve list of runners who want a place.
Professional machines supplied through The Gym Industry, the same equipment we used at Velodromen. All 24 are identical, so no team gains an advantage from which one they get.
No, entry is free. You can come and go throughout the 24 hours. We recommend the start, the night, and the final hours before the finish, which is when most happens.
Team slots are released in mid October 2026. There are 24 of them, filled in the order they are booked. Register your interest now and we will let you know before the release.
The price is announced together with the slot release in October. It covers the whole team of four, not per person.
Register your interest now and we will contact you before the slots are released in October. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You do not need to have your team ready yet.
We use your address to tell you about the slot release and nothing else.
